As the particles are platelet shaped and sized between 10-20 microns, Colourmats provide a matte appearance upon application. DF products are treated with Hydrogenated Polyisobutene and Dimethicone, which give a silicone-like softness and hydrophobic surface characteristics. DF treated products have excellent photostability. They are ideal for color care applications.

Coloursphere® WL 40 Black HL is a new generation of cosmetic color composite which is ideal for mascaras. It not only deliver color but it also function as a volumizing agent, thickener and rheology modifier. Coloursphere® WL 40 HL modify the film forming properties of the formulation, improving the wear and performance.

The surface charge is modified so that the FLWJ treated particles create 3D-structures. This makes them ideal for volume compacting as the 3D-structure gives airiness and lightness to powder applications. FLWJ treatment is suitable for natural cosmetics.
