"Our legacy began in 1908 with the spirit of a handshake In 1908, Morris Brown came across a stranded farmer in Bremen, Indiana. When Morris stopped to help, the farmer trusted Morris to take his peppermint oil to market and sell it. Their agreement was sealed with nothing more than a handshake. Morris soon realized the value and varied uses of mint oil, and The Lebermuth Company (originally M. Brown & Sons) was born. The spirit of that handshake is recognizable in our Company today: in the collaborative partnerships with our farmers, growers, and clients, and in our commitment to quality."
