- Application
- 730 ArmorBond is formulated specifically for interior use on dry substrates and in application temperatures at not less than 13oC (55oF); and meets VOC regulations.
- 730 ArmorBond is a self-priming system for slurry applications or can be applied neat as a primer for troweled overlays. This system can be installed with a monolithic cove base to create a seamless and sanitary installation that complies with USDA regulations.
- For best application results, pre-condition the material to between 80°F (27°C) and 90°F (32°F) if the substrate temperature is below 70°F (21°C).
Degrees Recoat Time 60°F 8-9 hrs. 77°F 14-16 hrs. The above table assumes ambient temperature, material and substrate are equal and material is applied at 20 mils in thickness.
- Product Application
The ArmorBond Base Coat System can be applied over the VaporGard Coating System in applications where hydrostatic or vapor transmissions could be a potential hazard; and can be used with any of the Thermal-Chem complimentary and repair products; and can be applied as a:
- Slurry or Slurry/Broadcast System - typically 1/16" thickness or greater
- Troweled Overlay System - typically 3/16" thickness or greater
- Uses
Typical uses for the 730 ArmorBond Base Coat System include:
- Industrial flooring
- Warehouse aisle ways
- Some processing facilities
- Wastewater treatment facilities
- Laboratories
- Commercial kitchens
Wherever the following flooring properties may be necessary:
- Slip-resistant surface
- Increased ease of maintenance
- Good abrasion resistance
- Durability and sanitary protection
