Casabond™ TX is added to the rubber dough or solution prior to use (up to 8 hours maximum), and the bond is formed during normal vulcanization. Once the Casabond™ TX is added the solution has a limited pot life. Casabond™ TX is a useful additive for footwear adhesives particularly for those based on polychloroprene and on chlorinated rubbers.

Storage & Handling
- Shelf Life
Casabond™ TX should be stored under cool and dry conditions in a well ventilated area. Direct exposure to sunlight should be avoided. It is recommended that the material be used within 12 months of manufacture.
