Casacide™ T300 contains 60 % TCMTB as an active ingredient and is a proven powerful fungicide for use in the processing of leather. The acid/ alkali stability of TCMTB enables Casacide™ T300 to be used in all stages of leather processing and production. Typically Casacide™ T300 is converted to a 30 % A.I. emulsifiable concentrate which is then further diluted with water for use in the tannery. Formulations containing TCMTB are normally added during the pickling / washing stages to ensure early effective fungicidal and bactericidal protection for the hides. Further addition of TCMTB during the tanning process ensures long-lasting protection for the finished leather product.
