Casacide™ T400 contains a certified 80% TCMTB as active ingredient and has been proven to be an effective broad spectrum biocide. Casacide™ T400 can be formulated to produce stable emulsions in water. Casacide™ T400 is readily formulated with a range of surface active agents. Casacide™ T400 is stable in both acid and alkali media, thus extending its range of industrial biocidal applications.
- Casacide TCMTB broad-spectrum biocides are recommended for the control of fungicidal growth, predominantly within paper pulping industry and as a wet-blue and wet-white fungicide in the leather tanning industry.
- Casacide TCMTB biocides offer exceptional and robust anti-microbial performance at low loadings.
- Casacide TCMTB biocides are promoted strictly in compliance with the Regulation EU 528/2012, better known as the Biocidal Products Regulations (BPR).

Casacide™ T400 is a proven broad spectrum biocide which can be used in a wide range of industrial applications including:- Leather Preservation the product's excellent fungicidal activity and acid / alkali stability make it the preferred product for leather preservation applications.
Timber Preservation Casacide™ T400 has proven highly effective in the prevention of sap-stain in freshly felled timber, and can also provide excellent long-term preservation in treated wood samples. Paper and Board Manufacture suitable formulations of Casacide™ T400 have been developed to control all aspects of algal, fungal and bacterial contamination in the neutral / alkali paper and boardmaking manufacturing processes. Industrial Cooling Water Treatment using a combination of Casacide™ T400 and other active ingredients has proven effective in the treatment of industrial process waters. Paint and Coatings Formulation Casacide™ T400 is an effective biocide for surface coatings, giving both in-can and film protection.
