Product Applications

Casamid™ 1457 is used in the production of gloss reduced, hybrid powder coatings containing greater than 10% titanium dioxide. Coatings with gloss levels ranging from 15% to 60% or greater may easily be formulated by the use of Casamid™ 1457. Coatings produced with Casamid™ 1457 are characterized by good flow and surface smoothness.

Minimum cure schedule recommended is 12 minutes at 180°C (metal temperature). See formulation guidelines for further details.
