It is used in construction industry for sealing, filling, insulating, fixing and mounting of window and door frames.
- Application
Surfaces should be clean, free of dust, grease and other impurities. At temperatures above 0°C, dry and porous surfaces should be moistened with water. The foam can be used all year long, even at low temperatures up to -10°C. At work, the temperature of the can can be below 0°C. However, it is recommended that it has a room temperature as this contributes to better properties of the foam. Before use shake can thoroughly with the valve upside down. Open the protective cap on the EasyGun adapter and release the tube. You will find gloves in the EasyGun adapter which you can use during application. Turn the can with the adapter upside down and apply pressure on the EasyGun adapter to activate the foam. You only have to fill the gap partially as the foam expands from 50 to 70% after application. If you are filling a gap wider than 5cm, work in layers. Apply the second layer once the first one has hardened. You can speed up the process of hardening by spraying the foam with water. Once hardened, foam should be protected against UV light. Once the foam has hardened, cut it with a sharp knife and finish with plastering, sealing, covering, painting etc. If you do not use the entire can, close the tube with special cap attached to the top of the EasyGun adapter. Then fix the tube to the can. Close the protective cap on the EasyGun adapter to block the trigger and prevent the foam from coming out. The foam can be re-used even after 6 weeks. Use Tekapur Cleaner to remove fresh foam residues; once hardened the foam can only be removed mechanically.

Storage & Handling

18 months (from +5°C to +25°C) or at lower temperatures for shorter periods of time (e.g. during transport). Higher temperatures shorten storage life. Store the cans in an upright position.
