HITOX (high grade titanium dioxide) is a high quality, cost-effective, Beige Colored Titanium Dioxide Pigment produced for use in a broad range of non-white colors. In products which require opacity and color, HITOX can reduce the amount of expensive organic & inorganic pigments as well as white TiO2. HITOX is offered in a 3 different particle sizes from STD (standard) 1.5 microns for medium to low gloss requirements to ULX = 0.8 microns and SF= 0.45 microns for maximum gloss and opacity. HITOX is used in a broad range of Paint and Coatings and Plastics applications including Architectural, Coil Backers, Powder, Container, Wood, Traffic, Paper, Primers, Adhesive & Sealants, Roof Coatings and PVC. HITOX GRAY is well suited for use in Gray Primers, Powder Coating, Decorative and Industrial Paints. In addition to Cost Savings, HITOX GRAY can eliminate or reduce the use of black pigments which are typically difficult to incorporate due to floatation problems. To sum up, HITOX is three things in one product: A Color Pigment• Neutral buff color or gray• Chalk resistant, meeting ASTM D476-84 Type II and Type III• Chemically 95% TiO2 but behaves like a color pigment An Opacifier • High refractive index, good opacifier• Uniform particle size offers consistent tint strength Stable and Safe• Good resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and chemicals• Does not react with media, resins, or other pigments• Compatible with all resin systems• Non toxic, fiberogenic, carcinogenic, or allergenic• Heavy metal free

HALTEX HALTEX® ATH is an economical, non-toxic, flame retardant & smoke suppressant filler produced in the at TOR Minerals- US for supply to the North American market. HALTEX features tightly controlled particle sizing to meet specific application performance requirements. Quality is suitable for a broad range of uses including: Electrical Components, Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), Bulk Molding Compound (BMC), Adhesives & Sealants, Roof Coatings, Foam Insulation and Rubber Mining Belts.

HALTEX

HALTEX® 315 is an economical, non-toxic, flame retardant &amp; smoke suppressant filler produced in the at TOR Minerals- US for supply to the North American market. HALTEX features tightly controlled particle sizing to meet specific application performance requirements. Quality is suitable for a broad range of uses including: Electrical Components, Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), Bulk Molding Compound (BMC), Adhesives &amp; Sealants, Roof Coatings, Foam Insulation and Rubber Mining Belts.

HALTEX® 315

HITOX® SF is a super fine color pigment. It is a unique and cost-effective, high quality, light buff color, rutile titanium dioxide for use in non-white applications. It is primarily for use in thin film or other coating and plastic applications requiring the highest opacity, best dispersion and highest gloss characteristics. HITOX SF offers savings both in the reduction of expensive organic and inorganic pigments as well as some of the white titanium dioxide in select formulations, while maintaining the necessary gloss and opacity properties. HITOX SF is well suited for paints and coatings applications, including architectural, maintenance, metal finishes, coil backing, primers and wood coatings, caulks and sealants, floor tiles, blown film and other plastic products.

HALTEX features tightly controlled particle sizing to meet specific application performance requirements. HALTEX® 304

HALTEX® 310 is an economical, non-toxic, flame retardant &amp; smoke suppressant filler produced in the at TOR Minerals- US for supply to the North American market. HALTEX features tightly controlled particle sizing to meet specific application performance requirements. HITOX® will reduce the amount of expensive organic and inorganic pigments as well as replace some of the expensive white titanium dioxide in selected formulations. It is commonly used in paints and coatings (architectural, industrial, metal finishes, powder coating, coil backers, primers, wood coatings and other types of solvent and water base paint), caulks, sealants, floor tiles, PVC and other plastics.
