- APPLICATION
Liquid mold release is recommended for use only on well conditioned tooling. Break-in new or reconditioned mold surfaces first with or TR-301 Sealer Glaze and TR-102 or TR-104 Paste Wax Release. Start use of the liquid wax after 3-4 de-molding or releases using paste wax.
Apply with cotton cloth, wiping uniformly in circular motion. After allowing drying (3-6min) and polishing with cotton cloth to high gloss finish proceed with production cycle. Each application or use of the one-step cleaner release removes styrene haze and excess wax from mold surface. Repeated use maintains gloss retention and contributes to
your mold maintenance. Can also be sprayed or brushed. Brushing into more detailed or non-skid surfaces and then wiped immediately will help clean that type of surface. Wet polishing dulled or lower gloss areas will restore luster or shine to the affected areas and entire mold surface.NOTE: Requires agitation before and during use to ensure adequate wax film thickness on mold. Polyester tooling: use only on molds first conditioned with a paste wax and release of a few parts.
