- Usage/Purpose
TF448 has been specially developed for the bonding of skirtings, cappings and cove formers used in the installation of commercial floor coverings. Bonds to almost all construction materials.
- Preparation
- Site conditions must comply with British Standards CP 102, BS 8203, BS 5325 and supplementary specifications.
- The surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from oil, grease, paint, excessive dust and other contaminants liable to impair adhesion.
- Concrete and sand/cement screeds must be completely free from laitance.
- PVC should be conditioned in the environment in which it is being installed for a minimum of 24 hours.
- Priming
Dusty or very porous substrates should be sealed with CS150 (water based).
- Application
Apply TF448 to the component part(s) to be bonded. Remove the release liner and fix to the wall first and the press down firmly to create an instant bond.
- Cleaning
No cleaning required.
- Open Time/Workability
Once release paper is removed apply immediately to substrates at 20°C.
