Galguard Trident is compatible with cationic, anionic and nonionic surfactants, emulsifiers and proteins. It is stable over a wide pH and temperature range. Generally, 0.25% Galguard Trident is its effective use concentration, but this may range from 0.5% to 1.2% depending on the type of formulation to be protected. It is free from halogenated or phenolic molecules Galguard Trident. The preservation technology is based on phenoxy ethanol and lipidated glycines, namely, N-capryloyl glycine and N-undecylenoyl glycine

Technical Details & Test Data
- Efficacy
EFFICACY IN BODY WASH pH 6.0
The formulation with 1% Galguard Trident in a body wash has given complete inactivation of bacteria, yeast and mold in 7 days.
EFFICACY IN CREAM pH 6.0
The formulation with 1% Galguard Trident has given complete inactivation of bacteria and yeast in 24 hours and A. Niger in 7 days.
The preservation efficacy of Galguard Trident has been ascertained by performing challenge tests as per the CTFA protocol in both leave-on & rinse off formulations. Created with an optimal ratio of components, Galguard Trident also exhibits antimicrobial effects on Propionibacterium acnes as well as Malassezia further.
