"After the war, the founder, Masatsugu Tsukino, established a wheat mill designated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in February 1947 with the desire to contribute to society through a business that can provide a stable supply of food. After that, in order to diversify the business as the consumption of wheat declined, we entered the oil refinery industry using rice bran as a raw material. In 1972, Tsukino Rice Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. was established for the purpose of advanced utilization of rice bran, and started manufacturing raw materials for pharmaceutical products. We started operation of a fatty acid derivative production plant in 2000, and since then we have been working on the manufacture of value-added products with the three pillars of rice bran oil manufacturing business,fine chemicals business and oleochemical business."
