"TUNAY GIDA was established in 2004 as the fruit of the knowledge and experience of the 30-year food journey that started in Erzincan in 1974.

Tunay Gıda is the result of years of work to achieve excellence, which made the first applications in the business areas I entered in our region and Turkey with an innovative perspective when starting business life in Erzincan. In the same year, Tunay Çiftliği Entegre Tavukçuluk San. and Tic. Inc. We founded the company. We started broyer production with chicks from the USA.

As one of the few broiler facilities in Turkey, we have been a pioneer in the development and establishment of meat poultry farming, with the Dutch origin freezing and cold storages and the poultry slaughterhouse we established. In the same years, we took the facilities of the USA Nevraska University and Atatürk University as a model while establishing a modern dairy cattle and milk processing facility. We also contributed to the development of modern animal husbandry in the East."

Prunes (Prunus domestica L.) is originated from Turkey. Plum production in Turkey is 320 thousand tons. Prunes are checked and dried by our quality control personnel in hygienic conditions and in appropriate environments of harvested ripe plums. The most suitable varieties for drying are Plum, Briton plum and Birilante

Apple (Malus Communis L) is originated from Anatolia and the South Caucasus. The removal of the 1800-year-old mosaic with an apple tree and apple figure unearthed in an excavation in the province of Amasya, located in the Eastern Black Sea region, shows that the existence of apples in our region dates back to 2,000 years ago. World apple production is 76 million tons. Turkey, which ranks 4th in the world, has an annual yield of 4.5 million tons.

APRICOT (Prunus armenica L.)  is apricot grown in many parts of the world, Turkey and Central Asia are intensive cultivation areas. World production is 4.3 million tons. Turkey ranks first with a production of 985 thousand tons. Malatya and Erzincan are one of the important apricot production centers in Turkey. It has been determined that there are 700 apricot genotypes dating back 1000 years in Erzincan.
