28-0-0 (urea-triazone and urea solution) contains 70% quick release nitrogen and 30% slow release nitrogen derived from urea-triazone, 28-0-0 is a high nitrogen liquid source that delivers a quick release of nitrogen to start growth and also contain just enough slow release nitrogen so that quick spike in growth does not drastically drop between applications. It can be applied as a foliar spray application on all crops to enhance growth and quality, supply needed nitrogen (N) and correct nitrogen deficiencies.

Applications & Uses

Application
  • Grasses: Apply 3 ounces per 1000 sq. ft. in 1 gallon of water or 128 ounces per acre in a minimum of 10-40 gallons of water.
  • Apply as needed for desired growth. Can be used at a rate of 6-9 ounces per 1000 sq. ft. every other month during growth stage.
  • 28-0-0 is a concentrated liquid fertilizer that should be diluted before using. It is for general plant use and is readily available to the roots and foliage, giving quick plant response.
  • 28-0-0 may be injected during each irrigation cycle at rates of 6 oz per thousand square feet each month.
  • Rates may vary in accordance with the irrigation schedule.
  • Use the lower recommended rate in more frequent watering.

Safety & Health

Cautions
  • Minimize skin exposure. Store mini-bulks and small containers out of the sun and in moderate temperatures. Do not re-use containers.
  • Avoid containers, piping or fittings made of copper-containing alloys or galvanized metal. In case of contact with eyes, immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if irritation occurs.
  • In case of skin contact, flush skin with water.
  • If irritation occurs, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
  • If swallowed, give large amounts of water and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger unless unconscious. Seek immediate medical attention.

Dispose of containers in accordance with local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations.
