It has now found its way into the construction industry, due to its fine powdered structure and retarding properties.

Agar-Agar is a polysaccharide, consisting primarily of D- and L-galactose units. Agar-Agar is used in the food industry as gelling, stabilizing and thickening agent for different applications like dietetic marmalades, yogurts, gelatin replacement and other applications with specific textures.
