Ultrapure Polymer 2055 is a water-dispersed Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) polymer micro-emulsion. It provides film formation to personal care and color cosmetics formulations. The micro-emulsion ensures quick drying and the resulting film is very high water-resistant. It dries crystal clear and offers smudge-proof properties.     Versatility in a Film Former
    Ultrapure Polymer 2055 is a film former that provides a crystal clear film that is fast-drying, water resistant and offers outstanding smudge resistance, ideally suited for mascaras. It also helps curl and lengthen lashes and may be used in combination with other polymers. For color cosmetics, Ultrapure Polymer 2055 provides water resistant film formation in lipsticks, eyeliners, eye shadows and foundations.

    • Ultrapure Polymer 2055 can be used in the water-phase of formulations
    • Recommended dosage: 5 – 15%, pH: 4-9
    • Simple mixing into the water-phase
    • Temperature: compatible with normal processing temperatures
    • Can be used primary alcohols and ketones with proper mixing and time. In methanol, it can be used up to 20%
