Super-Bind works on all feed types with a use rate of 10 to 25 lb per ton (5 kg to 12.5 kg per ton). When replacing high-inclusion lignin sulfonate, use a ratio of approximately 1 lb (.5 kg) to every 2 lb (1 kg) of full-strength lignin. When replacing medium inclusion binders, replace at equal use rates. Super-Bind is available in powder or liquid form. Super-Bind® is used in high grain feeds, rations containing high amounts of dried distiller’s grains, high fat horse feeds, range cubes, pressed blocks and other challenging rations.

Uni-Bond improves hardness, durability and moisture repellent properties of pellets, cubes or blocks. Uni-Bond is a low inclusion powdered pellet binder that is added at the mixing stage prior to pelleting. Uni-Bond is used in wild game feeds, premix pellets in textured feeds, calf creep feeds, range cubes and pressed blocks where improved weatherproofing is desired. Uni-Bond is also used as an anti-bridging agent in urea feeds. Use 1 to 3 lb per ton (0.5 to 1.5 kg per ton); if currently using a urea formaldehyde binder, replace at equal economic rates.

Bin-Aid liquefies during pelleting, reduces friction heat at the die and coats the pellets making them less sticky. Reduces bridging and improves the flow ability of urea feeds from holding bins and bulk trucks. Use 2 to 3 lb per ton (1 to 1.5 kg per ton). Bin-Aid, an anti-bridging agent, reduces bridging by forming a film on the pellets and by decreasing the friction heat at the pellet die. Bin-Aid is a dry powder added at the mixing stage.

Super-Lube® is a dry powder that is added at the mixing stage prior to pelleting.  It can be used to increase production rates, reduce fines (if replacing oil as a lubricant), or to run on lower amperage levels (save energy and lower friction heat).

Molastik firms up the molasses causing it to bind the feed ingredients into harder, more durable range blocks, cubes or pellets. Molastik also increases the water resistance of feed and preserves pellets in bagged feed in humid conditions. Using 3 lb (1.5 kg) of Molastik with 4-5% molasses provides superior binding.Molastik’s exceptional binding ability produces harder range blocks and improved weather resistance without hampering production.  It contributes to a denser product that is more water repellent than products made with other binders.  Further, Molastik allows the use of more molasses than normal without blocks going soft.  Molastik also improves compression and reduces expansion cracks.  Finally, Molastik darkens the finished feed for a “richer” look.

Pel-Aid is a great protein binding agent for USE in pet food treats, pet food, equine hoof conditioners, high grain, dairy and rabbit feeds. Using 1 to 2 lb per ton (0.5 to 1 kg per ton) will increase throughput and binding. Pel-Aid is a unique pelleting aid that serves as both a lubricant and binder. As a liquid, it lubricates the entire feed mixture and makes faster pelleting possible. When it cools, Pel-Aid solidifies, binding each pellet throughout.

EZ MILL is a low inclusion processing aid for rolled and steam flaked grain including corn, sorghum, wheat, barley and oats.  EZ MILL is used to increase production and improve quality. EZ MILL lowers the surface tension of water and improves emulsification of the oils naturally found in grain.  This combination helps soften the grain, opening the pores of the kernels, improving moisture absorption and reducing soak time.  The result is improved heat transfer, lower amperage, fewer flake fines and improved quality. Use 2 to 4 oz. (61 to 122 gm) per ton of ration to be flaked or rolled. EZ-Mill is a low inclusion processing aid for rolled and steam flaked grain including corn sorghum, wheat and barley. EZ-Mill is used to increase production and improve quality.

Xtra-Dry protects loose minerals from the weather and prevents them from leaching, hardening and caking. Use 10 to 20 lb per ton (5 to 10 kg per ton) of finished loose mineral mix. In addition, Xtra-Dry has benefits in any hygroscopic premix or bulk ingredients (urea, salt, choline chloride, ammonium sulfate…). Xtra-Dry coats the ingredients and reduces sticking, clumping and bridging. Xtra-Dry® water repellent additive will protect free choice minerals and premixes from the weather. This ensures consistent nutrient uptake, minimizes waste and reduces caking and hardening problems.

Uniscope Starch Binder is a nutritional, all natural, all-purpose, low inclusion pellet binder. It is especially suited to micro system metering devices, as it is not hygroscopic, will not bridge, lump, or cake. Uniscope Starch Binder is dust-free and electrostatic free. It is also odor and taste-free. Uniscope Starch Binder instantly solubilizes in steam, forming a high tack adhesive which holds feedstuffs together and it is also fast setting. Use 5 to 10 lb per ton (2.5 to 4.5 to kg per ton).

Super-Bind® All Purpose Lignin Sulfonate Pellet Binder is an all purpose, medium inclusion lignin sulfonate pellet binder designed to improve pellet qualityin all feed types. Super-Bindis a lignin sulfonate which has been modified during processing to provide a feed binder with powerful plasticizing properties and tack. This combination produces durable pellets that are not brittle and less apt or crack or break during normal handling.

Molastik® Molasses Binding Agent is a binding agent designed for use with molasses in pellets, cubes and pressed blocks. When added to feeds containing molasses, Molastik bonds the molasses and feed particles together resulting in significantly improved binding.

Bin-Aid Anti-Bridging Agent is a unique anti-bridging agent for pelleted feeds, especially those containing urea and or high molasses levels. When associated with steam, water or friction heat, Bin-Aidforms an aqueous suspension that coats and lubricates the feed particles. Once the pellets pass through the pellet cooler, the lubricant film dries, reducing pellet bridging in the holding bin.
