Vegalab Fungus Leaf Control

Vegalab Fungus Leaf Control is a natural enzymatic fungicide that must be applied via foliar spray before or immediately after initial disease infection. The enzymes present consume the cell walls of the fungus, causing mortality. This natural fungicide can be used to prevent or combat various forms of leaf rust (Roya spp.), early and late blight (Phytophthora spp. and Alternaria spp.), and powdery mildew.

    Active Ingredients

Fungus Leaf Control is an immobilized liquid fungicide based on different types of enzymes (cellulases, chitinases, lipases, proteases, etc.) produced by fungal microorganisms under controlled conditions. The application of Fungus Leaf Control on crops affected by fungi reduces infections on the crop, because its enzymes consume fungal pathogen cell walls, causing the death of the fungus.

    Applications

Apply Fungus Leaf Control to any crop at the beginning of disease onset. Mix 1.9 mL (1/2 tsp.) of product with one gallon (1 gal.) of water to properly dilute. This product can also be used in other quantities, respecting the dilution rate of 1:2,000; product to water. For area applications, use 6.9 oz to 10.4 oz per acre of land. Apply this product as a foliar spray in order to prevent early stage fungal attacks. Also, we recommend making several ap-plications during the crop season, as a preventive measure to prevent further attacks.

    Mode of Action

Fungus Leaf Control degrades the cell walls of pathogenic fungi, preventing the spread of spores and fungal growth on the leaves of crops. The enzymatic complex present in Fungus Leaf Control prevents infection by fungi and stimulates plantgrowth so fungal infections are minimized. This product should be applied after pathogen infections begin, for the purpose of prevention, and immediately after an outbreak occurs.
