- This material is in powder form (fullerenes are encapsulated in the silica gel).
- Too many liquid components in the formula will make the fullerenes captured in the silica gel appear as black dots. To avoid this, use about the same amount (or less) of liquid components as powdered components (e.g., 1000 μL liquid to 1 g VF).
- Please refrain from adding large quantities of fluid (aqueous, liquid phases) to VF during the manufacturing process.
- For formulas involving many liquid components, we recommend our water-soluble Radical Sponge, the oil-soluble LipoFullerene, or the liposome antecedent Moist Fullerene.
Reference Photo. White, powdery VF samples were manufactured from formulas with low liquid content.
1g Veil Fullerene + Butylene Glycol (left to right: 100, 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 5000 µL)
