Nylacast Oilon™ was the very first authentic lubricated Nylon, having a blended liquid lubricant system built-in during the process stages, which obviously resulted in a substantial increase in bearing life, 5 times that of Natural cast nylon and 25 times that of phosphor bronze. The lubricant contained within the material will not drain, machine, spin, leech or dry out and never needs replenishment. A uniformed distribution of the lubricant throughout the product guarantees a constant performance over the whole service life and improvements in the rate of wear, sliding frictional properties, abrasion resistance and stick-slip performance are just a few of the benefits offered by this material. It is the leading Oil Filled Nylon for over 40 years.

Viva Nylons Limited Polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight copolymer material with high impact, stress cracking and chemical resistance. Not only does this material offer these characteristics but also exhibits great flexibility and toughness at low temperatures with low moisture intake. Polypropylene (PP) features excellent chemical and acid resistance properties in addition to high impact strength.

Nylacast Impact is specifically designed for applications that require high impact resistance and noise reduction capabilities. It works effectively in applications where there is high stress. It also has good mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance properties. The impact grade is ideally suited to applications such as support rollers for the aggregate processing industry, dollies used in conjunction with pile drivers and crane feet pads as well as roller coaster wheels in relation to noise reduction.

Nylacast Impact

Viva Nylons Limited PA6C is the base grade from which all cast nylon materials are created. This unmodified grade of cast nylon 6, produced by an anionic polymerisation casting process, demonstrates similar characteristics to PA66. Cast nylon shapes contain significantly lower stress levels, combined with high strength, good wear resistance result in greater dimensional accuracy when machining.

Viva Nylons Limited Wax Filled Nylon (WFN) is a supreme abrasion resistant grade contains a blended wax lubrication system, uniformly distributed to radically improve wear resistance and coefficient of friction characteristics. The material has excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties and exhibits outstanding pressure velocity capabilities. WFN is particularly suited to dry running bearing applications.

Viva Nylons Limited PA6 Glass Filled material features hollow glass ovules, designed to float and evenly distribute through the polymerizing polymer. The glass additive allows the material to operate at higher maximum service temperatures whilst the solid wax counteracts the deteriorating surface slip characteristics. For applications requiring higher compressive strength, our Glass Filled material incorporates hollow glass ovules for outstanding abrasion and temperature resistant material at high loads. PA6 GF is available in Plate &amp; Rod profiles only.

Viva Nylons Limited Oil Filled Nylon (OFN) is PA 6C + blended liquid lubricant. It is a complex blended oil lubrication system, uniformly distributed throughout the product guarantees constant performance over the whole service life of this exceptional oil loaded nylon. Excellent sliding frictional properties, abrasion resistance and stick/slip performance make this product the first choice for unlubricated moving parts.

Viva Nylons Limited PA6C Moly contains improved crystallization and a degree of self-lubrication through the addition of molybdenum disulphide. Hardness increases and simultaneously the general mechanical and anti-friction properties are improved.

Viva Nylons Limited Polyethylene (PE-UHMW) is well known in the polymer family and is often referred to as PE. It has an extremely low coefficient of friction, good chemical and corrosion resistance with excellent impact strength making it an extremely adaptive thermoplastic material. This self-lubricating thermoplastic provides good abrasion and wear resistance, plus high resistance to UV light. Making it a great choice for bulk material handling applications.
