AIRX 44 Plus combines highly effective quaternary ammonium compounds with modern synthetic detergents, emulsifiers, builders, water conditioners and Airicide™ odor counteractants in one product. It is an excellent cleaner though neutral in pH to avoid dulling high gloss floors. AIRX 44 Plus is qualified for hospital use by its effectiveness against a wide range of gram negative and gram positive bacteria including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and MRSA. It is EPA registered to kill Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (AIDS virus) and it is recommended for ready availability as a pre-cleaner and disinfectant where there is a likelihood of contamination by blood or body fluids with the potential for transmission of HIV, HBV, HCV. AIRX 44 Plus is a super concentrate, and thus lends itself to convenient packaging, handling, storage and use.

- Uses
For use in health care facilities, ambulances, jails and other settings with likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces with HIV (AIDS virus), HBV, HCV blood or body fluids. In other areas for general cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing of surfaces such as floors, walls, tables, counter tops, sinks, bed frames, toilets, shower stalls, tile and grout, drinking fountains.
- Directions
- For general cleaning and disinfecting: Mix two ounces of AIRX 44 Plus per gallon of water. Apply liberally with cloth, mop or sprayer. When removing heavy soil or organic matter, use as above, pick up dirty solution and reclean surface. Prepare a fresh solution daily or when use dilution becomes visibly dirty.
- For use against HIV (AIDS Virus), HBV, HCV: Blood and other body fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of disinfectant. See label on container for details regarding cleaning procedures, personal protection, disposal of infectious material, etc.

- Germicidal Efficacy
Tested at 2 oz per gallon in the presence of 5% organic blood serum and 500 ppm water hardness (calculated as CaCO3) AIRX 44 Plus is effective against:
- EPA official test organisms for use in hospitals - Staphylcoccus aureus (methicillan resistant) (MRSA), Adenovirus Type 4, Hepatitis B (HBV) & C (HCV), Herpes Simplex Type 1&2, HIV-1, Human Coronavirus, Influenza A/ Hong Kong, Rubella, Rabies, Respiratory Synctial virus, Vaccinia, Avian Infectious Bronchitis virus, Avian Polyomavirus, Canine Distemper, Feline Leukemia Virus and Picornavirus, Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis, Pseudorabies Virus, Transmissible Gastroenteritis.
