Watson Coatings, Inc. is a privately held, family owned, paint and coatings manufacturer located in St Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1979, we began as a manufacturer of rust-proofing and underbody compounds, but we have evolved to produce a full line of water-based, water-borne enamels; solvent-based enamels; epoxies; polyurethane finishes; and UV cure coatings. Our manufacturing plant can produce paint in batch sizes up to 1400 gallons at a time, with a current annual production of over 550,000 gallons of paint per year. We also house a complete coatings laboratory dedicated to paint and coatings development, performance testing, and color matching. Watson Coatings, Inc. is dedicated to supplying our customers only the highest quality materials, using the most current technology, at a fair market price. Watson Coatings Aqua-Shield WAS Series coatings were designed as the first true water-reducible alkyd coatings for use on the exterior of high-pressure industrial gas cylinders. It is an air-dry water-reducible coating that is ready to use straight from the container with airless equipment or from conventional spray equipment with no thinning. This product makes an excellent maintenance coating for steel as well.
