WeiKem Chemical Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose ether is a nonionic cellulose derivative that dissolves readily in water, either cold or hot. Compared to other cellulose ether chemistries, the methylcellulose derivatives have a slightly more Newtonian flow characteristic which provides increased high-shear (ICI) viscosity.

WeiKem Chemical Methyl cellulose ether reduce friction coefficient and improve the lubricating properties of ceramics and concrete products. Its aqueous solution has special viscoelastic performance, which maintains the shape of ceramics products.

WeiKem Chemical Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose ether of cellulose and propylene oxide. It is easily soluble in cold water but not soluble in hot water. It is a nonionic cellulose ether and is compatible with many surfactants and polymers such as starch, guar and alginates. Solutions of Wekcelo MP are pseudoplastic, some solutions show thixotropy. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose polymers are well-known for their ability to bind, retain water, thicken, form films, and provide many other performance benefits. The number of substituent groups on the ring determines the properties of the various products. Highest methoxyl DS will yields maximum water solubility.

WeiKem Chemical Hydroxyethyl cellulose ether is a nonionic cellulose derivative that dissolves readily in water, either cold or hot. It is used to produce solutions having a wide range of viscosity. Such solutions has typical Non-Newtonian flow characteristic. It has unique combination of water. Water solution is smooth , homogenous solution, and good flow and leveling. The three hydroxyl groups of each of the anhydroglucose units of the cellulose are activated with sodium hydroxide. Subsequently these groups are etherified with ethylene oxide to form the hydroxyethyl ether of cellulose. Ethylene oxide, reacting at previously substituted hydroxyl groups, can polymerize to form a side chain.
