Foliar Application:

  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 is a highly concentrated nutritional solution. It is designed to meet the need for a soluble liquid minor element spray containing certain nutrients proven to be of value when applied as a properly timed foliage spray
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 is compatible with most insecticides and minor elements. It is designed for use as a supplement to a well balanced fertilizer program
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 nutrients can be applied by conventional ground rig, concentrate sprayer, and by air. With farms becoming larger and more specialized and farmers desiring to get crops planted earlier there definitely is a trend for applying less fertilizer at planting time and broadcasting or side-dressing larger quantities at other than planting time
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 is designed to supplement a well balanced fertilizer program and ensure the plants obtain proper nutrients during high growth periods which is so essential to high yields
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 provides a fast method of giving plants a nutrient boost through leaf absorption
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 will protect crops from nutrient deficiencies during those crucial growing periods when any drop in nutrients will result in a production drop
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 nutrients have corrected deficiencies of a great many row crops, vegetables, and ornamental plants under soil conditions ranging from high organic matter (muck) to very low organic matter and from strong acid soils (pH 3) to high alkaline soils (pH 8.5) containing considerable calcium carbonate (free lime)
  • Crop plus™ 12-5-5 can be effective under varied farming conditions. Differences in soil conditions, climate and plant varieties will determine how much more effective Crop plus™ 12-5-5 nutrients are than other sources of nutrients

Application Rates:

  • Soil Application Rates:
    • Maintenance Application: 1 qt./acre
    • Moderate Deficiency: 1/2 -1gallon/acre HEAVY DEFICIENCY 1 - 2 gallons/acre In soil applications the usual carrier is water used at a rate sufficient for thorough coverage. 12-5-5 can also be applied with liquid fertilizers and herbicides as a broadcast or banded treatment.
  • Foliar Application Rates:
    • Tree Crops: 1/2-1 gallon/acre Apply 12-5-5 on tree crops using the following dilution rates.
      • Aerial Applications: Use a maximum of 1 quart of 12-5-5 per 5 gallons of water
      • Dilute spray: Use a maximum of 1 gallon of 12-5-5 per 200-500 gallons of spray solution
      • Concentrated spray: Use a maximum of 1 gallon of 12-5 5 per 50-150 gallons of concentrated spray solution. If trees are sprayed several times a year the above application rates can be split according to the number of yearly applications. Split applications are considered more beneficial than single applications.
    • Vegetable Crops: 1 - 2 pts./acre Use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre
    • Field Crops: 1 - 4 pts./acre. Apply 12-5-5 on field crops using the following dilution rates: Aircraft and low volume sprayers: Use a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. Conventional sprayers: use a minimum of 20 gallons water per acre.
