Applications & Uses

Applications To Avoid

Do not use this product or any other to thin Wilsonart Adhesives.

General Use Instructions
  • Use only after you have read and understand the warnings, safety measures and first aid instructions printed on container. Apply and allow to dry only in a well ventilated area. Application and drying must be in an approved spray booth or in an area provided with approved ventilation to exhaust the solvent vapors. Use outdoors when possible. If indoors, open all windows and doors, and shut off all sources of ignition.
  • For Equipment Cleaning : Use WA 110 to remove excess adhesive and to clean equipment immediately after use. Cleaning becomes more difficult as the adhesive sets longer. Brushes and rollers may be stored suspended in WA 110 between uses. Use WA 110 to clean application equipment, including pumps, spray guns or other equipment by circulating through the spray system.
  • For Adhesive Residue Removal : WA 110 may also be used to remove adhesive overspray or residue from finished products. Dab rag in solvent and lightly rub residue, increasing rubbing pressure as needed. Do not flood surfaces during cleaning as solvent will attack bonds and cause edges and seams to lift.
  • For Detaching Incorrectly Bonded Surfaces : To separate incorrectly bonded surfaces, apply WA 110 to the adhesive line. Keep the adhesive line wet with solvent while pulling the surfaces gently apart as the solvent loosens the bond until the pieces can be separated. Allow the two surfaces to dry thoroughly before attempting to rebond using fresh adhesive. Do not trap solvent in the new bond.
  • Thinning : Even though WA 110 is a true adhesive solvent, thinning any Wilsonart adhesive with WA 110 is NOT recommended and may lead to bond problems.
