Features & Benefits
- Features & Benefits
- Reduces fines: Delivering with more droplets in the ideal droplet diameter spectrum.
- Improves deposition and coverage: Right sizes droplet for greater leaf coverage.
- Increases canopy depth: Helps get active ingredient deeper into plant canopy for better efficacy.
- Versatile Drift Reduction and Deposition
-
Derived from crop based oil, InterLock® adjuvant considerably reduces the amount of fine particles in the spray pattern without thickening the spray. Field studies with watersensitive paper showed the benefit of InterLock® adjuvant as well as Preference® adjuvant, a highly effective nonionic surfactant, which had more droplets throughout the canopy (see Figure 1). By keeping more spray droplets within the most effective size range, InterLock® adjuvant helps improve coverage, increases canopy penetration, and reduces drift and evaporation of pesticides, whether they are applied by ground or air.

Most uses:
- 5 to 25 gpa: 4 to 6 ounces per acre
- 25 to 50 gpa: 8 to 10 ounces per acre >50 gpa:
- 10 ounces per acre
Aquatic use:
- 4 to 6 ounces per acre
Deposition aid for fungicides and insecticides:
- 2 to 4 ounces per acre
InterLock® adjuvant may be premixed in a chemical inductor, injected, or added after pesticides and other adjuvants are in the tank.
Technical Details & Test Data
- Lock-In Spray Deposition and Coverage
-
InterLock® adjuvant improves spray droplet deposition for optimized coverage and product performance. Adding InterLock® adjuvant to the spray solution helps improve droplet coverage and helps the droplets stay on target on tough weeds such as lambsquarters (see Figure 2).
- Lock Out Drift
-
InterLock® adjuvant reduces fine particles (see Figure 3) in the spray, so less moves off target or evaporates.
- Lock-In Performance
-
InterLock® adjuvant can improve herbicide activity to control troublesome weeds (see figure 4).
