The application of Betolin AH 250 results in a hydrophobic surface of paint or plaster coats; thus the water uptake (w24 value) is strongly reduced. The water vapor permeability (sd value) is not influenced.
- Applications
Betolin AH 250 is added as water repellent to waterbased coatings, especially also to silicate emulsion paints and plasters. Usual concentrations are 0,6 – 1,0 up to 2,0 weight %.
