It is an aggressive general-purpose solvent used to reduce the viscosity of Wood Kote nitrocellulose-based lacquers, acetone-based dye stains and solvent-based polyurethanes. It is recommended as a substitute for LaqThinT-99A (lacquer thinner) and PolySolvent (mineral spirits) where regulations require dilution with a VOC-exempt solvent.
