Benefits: Diosmetin is the active metabolite of diosmin, and they share similar molecular structures. Diosmin is rapidly hydrolyzed to diosmetin in the intestine with the help of intestinal microflora enzymes. In this sense, the major benefits of diosmin is also diosmetin’s heathy benefits, such as treat chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoids, lymphedema, and varicose veins, etc., and diosmetin is for more efficient and better than diosmin and micronized diosmin.
