1 of 3 products in this brand
ZEBRON® 386 Resin are formulations of 100% solid "hybrid" polyurethane containing no solvents. When applied, the coatings cure with no shrinkage. ZEBRON® resists nearly all acids, bases and salt solutions over a wide range of concentrations. It is also impervious to sea water, raw and oxygenated sewage, bleaches, petroleum, vegetable oils and greases and specialty chemicals as paper mill black liquor.

Features

Highly Impermeable - ZEBRON® coatings test at least 3 times lower in vapor transmissions than other polyurethane coatings and significantly lower than epoxies. Tests show no water penetrates ZEBRON® to reach the concrete surface. Corrosion from oxygen diffusion is reduced by a factor of 10. The low permeability of ZEBRON® makes it ideal for protecting sewage systems from hydrogen sulfide gas and for protecting metal surfaces from corrosive atmospheres

Elongation And Flexibility - ZEBRON® coatings will bridge cracks more than a millimeter across in concrete. A 50 mil coating on a steel plate will bend over an 8 millimeter mandrel without cracking.

Rapid Application - ZEBRON® is sprayed on the surface in one application. It can be immersed immediately and walked on in 6 hours. Full cure is 7 days. No heating, baking or after treatment is required. ZEBRON® coatings provide exceptional protection from severe corrosion and abrasion.

Extreme High Build - ZEBRON® coatings can be applied from 20 mils to several inches even on vertical and overhead surfaces in a single application using multiple passes without sagging or distortion.

Excellent Weather Resistance - ZEBRON® has been protecting surfaces in both desert and marineclimates for many years with no chalking, embrittlement or other deterioration.

Outstanding Abrasion Resistance - ZEBRON® is highly recommended for slurry lines, for coal and aggregate chute and exterior hulls of ships.
