A constant research and development strategy with new materials, many patents, as well as the experience over all these years in plastic processing ensures a problem free machining and reprocessing of ZELLAMID® semi-finished stock shapes.

Zell-Metall Ges.m.b.H. Engineering Plastics' core business is manufacturing engineering plastic stock shapes (extrusion method) made from various formulations of Nylons (PA 6), Acetals (POM), PET, PEEK and HPMs.

ZELLAMID® is an internationally recognized and registered trademark, which has been standing for continuous research and development of new technologies for almost 60 years. ZELLAMID® stock shapes are produced by extrusion and are, due to annealing, nearly free of residual stress and therefore easy to process. This will allow your customers to increase production speed, enable tighter tolerances in the application, eliminating defective parts, and most importantly lower out-the-door-cost. The high quality level of our products is ensured by ongoing process control in accordance to EN ISO 9001.


ZELLAMID

ZELLAMID® 1100 Oil is a polyamide 6 material in which a special oil is embedded homogeneously into the molecular structure giving the stock shapes a superior wear resistance and a lower coefficient of friction.

ZELLAMID® 1120 FE is a combination of Polyamide 6/12 and metal core uniting the advantages and special properties of both materials which assures optimal and reliable power transmission.

ZELLAMID® 202 is a tough polyamide 6 material with high resistance to abrasion and impact.

ZELLAMID® 1100 is a heavy duty, high impact and chemical resistant polyamide 6 material appropriate for larger parts.

Zellamid® 1100 T is a cast nylon with special additives and solid lubricants with a focus on the sliding properties of the material, making a low friction coefficient of just 0,15 possible.

ZELLAMID® 1115 is a Cast Polyamide 6/12 copolymer and has higher impact strength, lower moisture absorption and better creep resistance than Cast Nylon 6.
