Applications & Uses

Application Method
Applications
  • Apply by using conventional airless or air-operated spray equipment or by using aerosol.
  • Apply at 1 - 1½ mils (25-38 microns) wet thickness. This wet thickness can be measured with Zip- Chem® ’s Wet Film Thickness Gage.
  • All properties represented were achieved with a dry film thickness of 0.5-0.75 mils (12 -19 microns).
  • Use on high profile aircraft substrates; upper edge floor beams, wheel wells, pressure deck, and center wing sections
  • One aerosol can covers approximately 95 ft² (8.8 m²)
  • 1 gallon (3.8L) of bulk material can covers approximately 1600 ft² (39.3 m² per liter)
  • The Cor-Ban® 35 aerosol can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated.
  • Cured Cor-Ban® 35 can be removed with Sur-Prep® 3167, Sur-Prep® 3160, or Zip-Strip™ 125M.
