- A dark brown and thixotropic liquid corrosion inhibiting compound that is intended for heavy duty use.
- A solvent cut-back formulation which dries in approximately two hours.
- Forms a firm, amber, and transparent film that will not flow below 175°F (79°C).

- Readily wets the surfaces of most commonly used metals
- The Cor-Ban® 50 aerosol can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated.
- Apply by spray, dip, or brush in the temperature range of 50°F to 100°F (10°C to 38°C)
- For areas requiring penetration, pretreat those places with Cor-Ban® 35, and then cover with Cor-Ban® 50
- One gallon (3.8L) of this material covers approximately 800 ft² (74.3 m²) at a film thickness of 1 mil (25 microns) thick
- One aerosol of Cor-Ban® 50 covers approximately 95 ft² (8.8 m²)
