ZOLTEK OX yarns are inherently fire resistant, thermally stable, electrically non-conductive and exhibit excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents. Like the continuous ZOLTEK OX tow from which it is made, ZOLTEK OX flock consists of oxidized and stabilized PAN fibers (OPAN) that are inherently fire resistant, thermally stable and resistant to chemicals and solvents. ZOLTEK OX flock is non-conductive and has a ~62% carbon content. ZOLTEK OX flock is designed for use in decorative thermoplastic and rubber compounding, friction materials and other end uses.

ZOLTEK OX leno scrims are produced from 100% ZOLTEK OX yarns and offer support in applications requiring additional strength and high temperature performance. Also used as the raw material for carbon scrim serving the composite industry.

ZOLTEK PX35 continuous carbon fiber is manufactured from polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor.
