Lexolube Z-100

LEXOLUBE Z-100 is a high viscosity polymer ester suitable for use as an additive or co-base stock to boost viscosity, viscosity index and lubricity. Long chain length adds tack and body to lubricant formulations. Because of its inherent polarity, it is generally incompatible with mineral oil and PAO base oils.

Product Highlights

Polymeric esters are high viscosity lubricant additive components that are used as thickeners, tackifiers and lubricity additives in industrial grease applications. They are thermally and oxidatively stable with high polarity, enabling them to deliver outstanding film-forming and wear protection performance. Polymeric esters are readily biodegradable, environmentally friendly, shear stable additives that boost viscosity index boost for improved lubrication efficiency.

The LEXOLUBE Z series polymeric esters have high polarity, making them insoluble in highly paraffinic mineral oil or PAO synthetic Group IV base stocks. They are recommended for use in polar base stocks like polyol esters, phosphate esters and alkylated aromatics, and can be can be tailor made to a wide range of viscosity specifications. LEXOLUBE Z series polymeric esters are also used as plasticizers for polar resins such as PVC.
