VIVAPUR® Pectin LA-S20 VIS-YA is a water solvable amidated pectin in form of a beige powder. It can be used to form a thermo-reversable gel or bio-based transparent coatings with oil and oxygen barrier properties upon the addition of higher valent ions (e.g. Ca2+). VIVAPUR® Pectin LA-S20 VIS-YA is an EU approved food additive which complies with the specifications according to Reg. (EU) No. 231/2012 and Food Chemical Codex. For an EU usage please consider food categories and where required maximum levels listed in Reg. (EC) No 1333/2008.
