The Hydrocal™ refining process selectively saturates large cyclical aromatic subgroups which result in the production of very highquality, stable base stocks. Further quality control practices that Calumet implements on crude oil selection and subsequent refining processes assure consistent uniformity and product performance.

Metal Treatment MT-10 is a blend of highly refined oils and proprietary additives. MT-10® contains no solid lubricants, chlorinated solvents or phosphate compounds.

Glyub are used in various application such as automotive and marine engine oils, compressor oils, hydraulic fluids, gear oils and grease formulations. They offer an ample range of viscosities and are characterized by high solvating properties, thermal capacity, low volatilities, high flash point and good thermal stability. Low toxicity and high biodegradability are a plus for this class of additives. They are designed mainly for low temperature performances. Obtained from adipic acid and linear or branched alcohol are particularly designed for 2/4 stroke engine lubricants and hydraulic fluids.

EP BEARING GREASE™ is an all-purpose lithium grease containing naturally-occurring extreme-pressure and boundary lubricants. The additive package enhances the shear stability, lubrication properties and high temperature characteristics of lithium-based grease, making EP BEARING GREASE a versatile, cost-efficient, multi-purpose grease. The extreme pressure additive has the added benefit of reducing acidity created by oxidation of the base fluid and organic additives in high-temperature environments. The result is a stable, high temperature grease that will outperform most lithium soap based greases on the market today.

12|34® Formula was originally developed to protect materials in storage and to reclaim materials damaged by weather and/or saltwater exposure. Much of this work was done for the Navy and general aviation for corrosion prevention and rust removal. Rust has been called the Navy’s second most formidable enemy. 12|34® Formula has been enlisted in corrosion control and rust removal in multiple shipboard and shore installation applications for the Navy. In general aviation, light aluminum sections and component parts have been similarly protected by 12|34® Formula’s ability to stop corrosive oxidation. So successful was the product in these fields, that expanding 12|34® Formula into countless other industrial applications was inevitable. Treating with 12|34® Formula before storage can reduce handling costs and maintenance until the materials are ready for processing.

Muscle Hybrid Engine Treatment™ is designed specifically for today’s hybrid engines engineered to treat the metal not the oil for reduced friction and wear and enhanced engine performance.

MARLOWET ether carboxylic acids are low foaming anionic surfactants. They are based on alcohols from C9 to C18, with different alkoxylation degrees. The MARLOWET product range is a water soluble lubricant efficient in hard water and active at extreme pH. It can be used in various applications including as a corrosion inhibitor (organic anti-corrosion agent), wetting agent, defoamer, hydrophilic emulsifier for water based metalworking fluids and exhibits high lime soap dispersing properties.

Irgalube® line of antiwear additives is especially developed for formulating antiwearcompressor and hydraulic fluids, gear oils and greases. Irgalube® provides longterm lubricant stability together with excellent antiwear and corrosion prevention whileprotecting industrial and mobile equipment operating at high pressure and temperature. Irgalube® products are hydrolytically stable and provide excellent compatibility with system contaminants such as water, calcium and zinc.

GLYSANTIN® line of products are engine coolant concentrates based on ethylene glycol for water cooled engines.

Irgamet® metal deactivators are yellow metal passivators. High synergism with Irganox® antioxidants gives superior oxidative stability of the fluid. Oil soluble and water soluble products are available. Several are FDA regulated for use inincidental food-contact applications.

Irgacor® corrosion inhibitors protect ferrous metals against rust and oxidation. In some cases, multi-metal protection is possible. Oil soluble and water soluble products are available, with low foaming tendency and excellent air release. Use of ashless corrosion inhibitors can also reduce heavy metal contamination of the environment. Many of the products are FDA (Food and Drug Regulation USA) regulated for use in incidental food-contact applications.

Synative® types are high-quality esters that offer the formulator a broad pallet of properties to work with. The range includes standard viscosity esters acting as the base fluids but also high-viscosity, shear-stable esters that can be used to achieve the desired viscosity grade finished lubricant with superior performance (energy efficiency, long drain intervals, improved equipment protection, etc).

Breox® range of products covers water soluble and water insoluble polyalklylene glycols (PAGs) and high viscosity polyalklylene glycols. Their high thermal and oxidative stability, excellent lubricity, high film strength and load capacity, anti-wear properties, micropitting resistance, and shear stability make them an ideal choice as base stock for formulating high-performance industrial lubricants.

Emgard® are designed for highest protection from wear to the drive train. They provide maximum component life and allow the enhancement of service life. The drain intervals can be extended and the used oil disposal can be reduced. These fully synthetic axle oils provide measurable fuel savings and thus contribute to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Emgard® grades are high-performance lubes show superior performance at extreme temperatures from minus 40°C to plus 40°C. They have an extremely low pour point. Compared to conventional mineral-based oils BTC’s axle lubes show a significant improvement in heat management during operation. Our axle lubricants form a durable film which reduces wear and protects drive axles and manual transmissions against rust from moisture. Sludge is reduced due to outstanding oxidation and aging stability.
