Modified PTFE Rolls - MOD002X12 has the same performance characteristics as standard PTFE, viz. exceptional chemical resistance, high and low-temperature capabilities, anti-stick performance and low friction. Compared to standard PTFE modified PTFE displays remarkably enhanced performance characteristics.

GEHR POM® ESD 9 is a variant of POM-C with reduced surface resistance. Unfilled thermoplastic materials made of plastic are electrically insulating and are classified as non-conductors. By means of certain modifiers, such as treated carbon black, metal fibers or certain salts, however, an inherently acting electrical conductivity can also be introduced. This can result in antistatic, static dissipative or even very conductive properties. The aggregates used are not subject to migration, so that continuity of this special property is ensured. In our standard program we have the following electrically conductive materials in stock: GEHR PE-ELS®, GEHR POM-ELS® and GEHR PVDF-ELS®. Due to market-specific requirements, we have now added an electrically conductive type to the technical materials: GEHR POM-ESD 9® has a static conductivity with a surface resistance of between 106 Ω and 109 Ω. This favors applications in sensitive electrical engineering and conveyor technology with – at the same time – increased requirements in explosion protection.

AFT Fluorotec AF115 Reinforced PTFE material specifically developed for slide bearing and skidway applications. This material comprises a unique blend of filler compounds to give optimum compressive strength whilst retaining very low frictional coefficients. The load bearing characteristics are greatly improved over conventional PTFE materials and the unique blend of fillers means maximum compressive strength whilst still having an extremely low coefficient of friction, regardless of conditions, surpassing other filled PTFE materials. AF115 is also unaffected by UV.

Contamac F2 High comprises of fluorosilicone acrylate chemistry, designed to promote the known advantages of improved wettabilty and deposit resistance. This workhorse material has excellent machining characteristics and is ideal for thin lens designs. In addition to routine spherical fits this material can also be used with more sophisticated designs. The fitting characteristics are predictable, as the range offers a variety of Dk values but has the same chemistry design.

KömaDur® 284711 sheets offer active antibacterial protection and are designed for cladding the walls and ceilings of areas that must fulfill stringent hygiene requirements. The sheets are resistant to many chemicals. KömaDur® 284711 sheets satisfy the standards demanded by the health authorities for food plant, medical facilities, catering firms, and many other areas (DIN 22196:2011). The sheets’ antibacterial properties offer protection against mold, bacteria, and pathogens. Our sheets use silver ions. These are a known biocide with natural antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that suppress microbial reproduction.

Virgin PTFE Rolls - VS001X12 is a versatile, unsupported hydrophobic membrane with broad chemical compatibility. It is compatible with various sterilizing methods (500°F). For these reasons, it is extensively used as a barrier film in many applications. It is widely used in the wire and cable industry as a wrap because of its extraordinary insulating ability. Some specialty PTFE resins can be made into a thin film with a breakdown voltage of over 1000 volts per mil.

AFT Fluorotec AF213 Anti-Static PTFE is a special conductive carbon filler.

Cospheric Fluorescent Green Polyethylene Microspheres 1.00g/cc - 10um to 1400um (1.4mm) are bright fluorescent green microspheres supplied in dry powder form and specifically designed with density ~1g/cc for suspension in fresh water, enabling flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.

35 MELT FLOW HOMOPOLYMER Pinnacle Polymers Polypropylene 1635AF is made via UNIPOL™ PP technology, which utilizes gas-phase fluidized bed reactors with a high activity catalyst system to ensure uniform physical properties and lot-to-lot consistency.This product is intended for injection molding; the flow properties should be of particular benefit in the production of thin-walled articles. It contains no nucleators, antistats or animal derivatives.Potential applications include: healthcare/medical packaging, labware, containers and thin-wall articles in general.The 1635AF highlights: Heat Sterilizable (autoclavable) Contains no animal derivatives Excellent color and processing stability Low Extractables Pinnacle's polypropylene, as marketed by Pinnacle Polymers Company, in natural, uncolored pellet form complies with appropriate requirements of CFR Title 21, Part 177, Subpart B, Section 177.1520 (c) 1.1a entitled "Olefin Polymers" of the Food Additives Amendment of 1958 to the United States Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1938.

Polyplastics Group Topas® 5013S-04 is a high flow injection molding grade with a 130°C heat distortion temperature. It is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for healthcare and other high-tech products. The 5013 resin series features high flow characteristics for excellent mold detail replication. Lower leachables and extractables of TOPAS COC preserve content stability and quality, and chemical purity. This grade has a high heat distortion temperature to withstand 95°C PCR protocols, and is suitable for gamma or EtO procedures.

Cospheric Fluorescent Red Polyethylene Microspheres 1.050g/cc - 45um to 500um (0.5mm) are bright fluorescent red microspheres supplied in dry powder form. Fluorescent particles of known density and particle diameter range are often used in density-matching for flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution. Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.

Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution. These spheres closely resemble the density of blood plasma at 1025 kg/m3.
