Special Materials Company SMC Global 688T flame retardant was developed as a low viscosity alternative to SMC Global 688. Chemically equivalent to Amgard CT, SMC Global 688T is a member of our family of unique phosphorus based products designed primarily for the textile industry. SMC Global 688T has excellent water-soluble and can be added directly to the latex without the addition of an emulsifier.

On saturated polyester resins cured with melamine such as our Compromel, Compro FR-60-P will impart film thickness and greater chemical resistance. In PET coatings it will facilitate cast and mold properties and reduce stress and strain afterwards.
