AROSURF® PA 935 is a hydrophilic polyether siloxane emulsion with a high molecular weight. It is designed to provide special surface lubrication effects on facial and bathroom tissue during converting. AROSURF® PA 935 is recommended as a formulation aid for converting lotions. This non-ionic, non-substantive siloxane surfactant dilution is based on synthetic raw materials and does not contain any flammable solvents. It achieves a unique silicone surface feel on tissue without affecting the sheet's tensile strength. AROSURF® PA 935 is suitable for tissue made of virgin and/or recycled fibers and enhances the tissue's water absorbency properties due to its high hydrophilicity. It is compatible with other chemicals and can be easily diluted to form lower viscosity emulsions using demineralized water while avoiding the presence of electrolytes and water hardness.

AROSURF® PA 852 is a non-volatile blend of non-ionic and cationic softeners used in tissue and towel manufacturing. It is suitable for virgin, low strength, and recycled fibers. The softener is applied to the wet web by spray, imparting a soft hand feel without affecting tensile strength or bulk softness. Tissue made with AROSURF® PA 852 leaves a pleasant afterfeel on the skin, and absorption properties are minimally reduced. The liquid blend is easily dispersed in warm water and has low viscosity for easy application by spray. AROSURF® PA 852 is an effective softener that enhances the quality of tissue and towel products.

SIPERNAT® 9000 PC is composed of exceptionally sturdy, round-edged hydrated silica particles and is therefore the preferred choice for formulations with a long-lasting scrubbing effect. The large SIPERNAT® 9000 PC particles are the preferred choice for strong desquamation or as a sensory indicator when combined with smaller particles for cleaning.

AROSURF® PA 777 V is a specially formulated blend that is utilized in the production of fluff pulp to reduce tensile strength while maintaining absorbency. It is also used in the manufacturing of tissue and towelling as a softener and debonder to enhance bulk and reduce tensile strength in the wet end, particularly for recycled fiber. This hydrophilic liquid blend is made from fully vegetable and synthetic raw materials and is easy to handle. AEROSIL® R 816 fumed silica powder offers an alternative technology to stabilize oil/water emulsions. Due to the special surface modification of the silica both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties are introduced in just one material. This enables AEROSIL® R 816 to enrich at oil/water interfaces and thereby stabilize oil droplets in a continuous water phase by the Pickering effect.Furthermore, AEROSIL® R 816 brings structure to the continuous water phase and increases its viscosity which limits the mobility of the oil droplets, thereby providing for even more emulsion stability.
