WACKER® Silicate TES 40 WN is used for the precipitation of polymeric SiO2 structures (silica) upon complete hydrolysis, with ethanol being produced as a by-product.

WACKER® Silicate S100 is a ready-to-use ethyl silicate binder with a flash point above 21°C. It is primarily used for formulating single-pack ethyl silicate zinc-rich primers, which are commonly used as anti-corrosive coatings. WACKER® Silicate TES 28 is a monomeric ethyl silicate, also known as tetraethoxysilane or tetraethyl orthosilicate.
