Disponil® grades are anionic based surfactants for a wide range of applications where dynamic wetting and solubilising properties are needed. Especially their strong emulsifying and dispersing characteristics are the main property in diverse applications. They are used during the polymerization process are essential for problem-free manufacture, insitu-polymerization stabilization and can also positively influence the dispersion performance in application. Disponil® grades are free of sodium chloride and the remaining salt content of sodium sulfate is reduced to a very low limit. With regard to the 1,4 Dioxan content in fatty alcohol ether sulfates (FES) the level is reduced to a limit depending on the ethoxylation degree. Overall the content is below 150 ppm, whereas the lowest is < 5ppm. Those narrow ranged by-products of the main product are mandatory in sensitive applications like emulsion polymerisation processes. In addition most of the emulsifiers are FDA or BfR (Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung) approved.

Bermocoll is used as a thickener, stabilizer and water-retaining agent for water-based decorative paints. It also controls consistency, providing easy workability, extended open time and enhanced adhesion in cement and gypsum based systems.

SYCO 570® is an innovative high-performance wetting agent, APEO free, which has high efficiency in color evolution, provides excellent leveling, reduces the incidence of spatter and prevents pigment stratification. It also has the great advantage of not freezing at low temperatures (above 5 °C).

LDA® is also an effective additive for the stabilization of white base paints and enhances color acceptance to eliminate flooding and floating when tinting the bases with universal colorants.

Nonionic surfactants carry no electrical charge and are available in a variety of chemical types. The main classes are alcohol ethoxylates, alcohol ethoxylates/propoxylates, ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymers, castor oil ethoxylates, amine ethoxylates, fatty acid esters and their ethoxylates. Dispex® dispersing agents are used to wet and stabilize pigments and other particles in pigmented coatings. Silicone polyethers, or silicone surfactants, contain both a water-insoluble silicone backbone and a number of water-soluble polyether pendant groups. DeMUL is a clear, colorless liquid that serves as an emulsifier for emulsifiable concentrates, microemulsions, concentrated emulsions, and oil dispersions. It has a saponification number of approximately 128, an acid number of maximum 1, and an iodine number of approximately 60 gI/100g.
