Conventional dispersing agents tend to be linear in structure and attach with one hydrophobe group. The BioLoops are different in the respect that they have two hydrophobes that attach onto a particle substrate making it twice as effective as a conventional dispersing. What makes this particular product unique is the ability to disperse particles in both aqueous and solvent-based mediums. An aqueous dispersion manufactured using Lansperse BIO691 can be incorporated in both solvent and aqueous based paints without any detriment to performance.
