This versatile monomer finds applications in various industries including adhesives and sealants, coatings, oil and gas, personal care, healthcare, and textile and leather.

Osaka Organic Chemical Industry LTD STA has a very long alkyl chain moiety. Its homopolymers are called Side Chain Crystallization polymers and have not only a Tg but also a melting point (Tm), even though usual acrylic polymers do not have a Tm. The product properties are achieved by its long alkyl chain, comb-like amorphous/semi-crystal phase transition. STA is highly purified, so it can be used for emulsion polymerization due to the absence of alcohol.

4-HBA is used for acrylic resins, adhesives, UV diluent. It is water miscible. Its OH group of co-polymer is higher reactivity than the other hydroxyalkyl monomers like HEMA and HEA because of the longer alkyl chain between OH group and polymer main chain. The 2K urethane painting with 4-HBA has higher scratch resistance and stronger mechanical properties because it can form higher crosslinking density due to highly reactive OH group. 4-HBA is also used for UV diluent application because the lower toxicity than the other hydroxyalkyl acrylates, like HEA and HPA which are classified as CMR substances in most of countries.

ISTA from Osaka Organic Chemical is highly purified by distillation. It has highly branched bulky pendant group. Because of this structure, it has low polarity, low permittivity, high Tg, low surface tension, high dispersive power and high anti-hydrolysis properties. Main application is adhesives to control Tg, surface tension, permittivity and slippage properties. ISTA is also highly distilled even though it has high molecular weight. It has the lowest acrylic equivalent monomer in the distilled monomer We can handle ISTA easily because it is liquid product compared with linier stearyl acrylate, a solid acrylate.

Bomar BR-3641AA is an aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate with a high molecular weight and theoretical 1.3 functionality. Films formulated with BR- 3641AA are highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. When formulated as an adhesive, this oligomer is excellent as an adhesion promoter or reactive tackifier. This oligomer offers improved adhesion to a variety of substrates.

Bomar BR-3042 is an aromatic polyether urethane diacrylate designed for UV adhesive applications. Cured films of BR-3042 and monofunctional monomers result in soft, highly elongative, tacky systems ideal for use in UV pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA), or UV-curable laminating adhesives.

Bomar™ BR-744SD is a difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate offering excellent adhesion, flexibility, and tensile strength. It can be effectively formulated for adhesion to steel, aluminum, and various plastics. Products formulated with BR-744SD can be highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. It is excellent as an adhesion promoter or reactive tackifier, and is a perfect choice for optically clear UV-PSAs.

BOMART BR-3747AE is a difunctional, flexible, aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate. In addition to our typical substrates, BR-3747AE provides adhesion to variety of unusual substrates: polypropylene, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC). This unique product adheres well to a variety of metals, glass, and plastics. It is also an excellent candidate for consideration in UV light-curable PSA as a co-oligomer.

Bomar BR-3741AJ is an aliphatic 1.3 acrylate functional polyether urethane. The extremely elongative nature of BR-3741AJ makes it an excellent candidate for consideration in UV light-curable PSAs as a reactive tackifier. It is also used as a co-oligomer for adhesion promotion in coatings. Films formulated with BR-3741AJ are highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. This oligomer is an excellent adhesion promoter, and compared to other reactive tackifiers it results in relatively tougher films. It is a perfect choice for optically clear UV pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs).

Bomar®BR-641E is a polybutadiene urethane acrylate oligomer designed for rigorous electronic coating, flexible ink,and pressure-sensitive adhesive applications. This oligomer is also perfect for extremely low water absorption applications. It is resistant to thermal cycling and can withstand the temperature extremes typical of such tests without undue degradation of properties.

Bisomer® MPEG350MA is a long chain methacrylate monoester based on an ethylene oxide backbone.
