It is commonly used as Film Former, Binder, Fixative and Suspension Aid for a variety of applications in Hair Care, Skin Care, Color Cosmetics, Treatment Products and Oral Care. Viscoat #190 (EOEOEA, EEEA, CBA) is famous polar acrylate but our EEEA called V#190 has different properties compared with other company’s products. Our V#190 is highly distillated, so that it has very low viscosity and color, and no difunctional impurities derived from polyethylene glycol. Our competitors’ product have relatively higher viscosity, higher color, and cannot be a comonomer for acrylic copolymer. Recently, very low volatiles during UV radiation properties are reported [1]. So if you use our products, you can cut down on the frequency of UV lamp maintenance and the work environment will improve because the volatiles will be reduced. V#190 is suitable for adhesives because it has low Tg and high elongation properties along with a polar nature (enough polarity to aid in adhesion, but still an effective diluent for non-polar resins).

MEDOL-10 has a novel unique structure. It was developed for replacement of THFA, tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate. MEDOL-10 only has exclamation pictogram on REACH. Its viscosity is low enough for many applications like UV inkjet ink. Some of paper said high polarity pendant group induces high curing speed [1]. Dioxolane structure induces high solvency as same as THFA because both THF and dioxolane are good solvent.

ISTA from Osaka Organic Chemical is highly purified by distillation. It has highly branched bulky pendant group. Because of this structure, it has low polarity, low permittivity, high Tg, low surface tension, high dispersive power and high anti-hydrolysis properties. Main application is adhesives to control Tg, surface tension, permittivity and slippage properties. ISTA is also highly distilled even though it has high molecular weight. It has the lowest acrylic equivalent monomer in the distilled monomer We can handle ISTA easily because it is liquid product compared with linier stearyl acrylate, a solid acrylate.
