P.A.T TT 50S (Sodium Tolyltriazole 50%) is a 43% active aqueous solution of methyl 1 H-benzotriazole (tolyltriazole), functioning as a corrosion inhibitor for copper and copper alloys. TT 50S forms a barrier film on the surface of copper, precipitating copper from solution and thereby providing galvanic corrosion protection for other metals. It finds use in various applications, including circulating cooling systems such as cooling towers, air conditioning systems, and cutting and grinding fluids.
