Brands in Anionic Surfactants

Glutamate and sarcosinate salts are anionic amino acid bases surfactants that are used in cosmetics as mild surfactants with a lower irritation potential compared to other surfactants. Sarcosinates are also available in free acid form. Main application areas in cosmetics are: skin, hair and oral hygiene products, and in addition soap production; further application areas are sunscreens and creams. Besides the application in cosmetics these surfactants are also used in household, I&I and industrial products, e.g. as corrosion inhibitors in lubricants or metal working fluids, as rust preventatives, as fuel additives, as surfactant in various types of cleaners and as textile processing aids.

Burcosperse™ AP Liquid is an anionic detergent polymer that is an effective soil dispersant, calcium sequestrant, and anti-redeposition agent. It is used in hard surface cleaners, liquid laundry detergents, industrial dishwash formulations, and metal cleaners.

Crodasinic™ is a range of biodegradable anionic surfactants consisting of acyl sarcosines and their sodium salts, sarcosinates. Produced from natural fatty acids and the amino acid derivative, sarcosine, the Crodasinic™ offers a number of functional benefits in a wide variety of personal care, home care and I&I applications.

MASPHATE® products are anionic surfactants, based on natural fatty alcohol and natural fatty alcohol ethoxylates. Our anionic MASPHATE® range is widely used as emulsifier, emollients, foaming and wetting agents.

The Naxan® anionic surfactants are a series of sodium salts of alkyl naphthalene sulfonic acid. These products provide excellent wetting, dispersing, hydrotroping and medium to low foaming. They offer acid and base stability, hard-water tolerance and high temperature stability. The naxaf® naphthalene sulfonate–formaldehyde condensates are used primarily as dispersants in a wide variety of industrial applications.

BIO-SOFT® is a nonionic surfactant blend that is an excellent cleaner, degreaser, and detergent. It can be formulated into concentrates and ready-to-use products for household, industrial, and institutional applications.

STEPANPOL® polyester polyols are designed for use in a wide variety of polyurethane and polyisocyanurate applications. We offer a full range of polyols, including those for C.A.S.E. (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers), Flexible Foam, and Rigid Foam applications.

Niaproof is the brand family encompassing emulsifiers, surfactants, and monochloroacetic acid. In food applications, Niaproof SSL and CSL are used in baked goods and desserts. While Niaproof surfactants find applications in industrial detergents and textile conditioning agents. NINATE® is an anionic surfactant used in combination with nonionic surfactants to form effective emulsifier systems in a variety of agricultural formulations.
