MORzyme is used in the treatment of the processing of recovered fibers to enhance the safe removal of residual mineral oils and other contaminants found in wastepaper that are not desired by end users of the final produced paper.

UTEC® is an Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) product line manufactured exclusively by Braskem. UTEC’s molecular weight is about 10 times greater than High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) resins and its density makes finished parts approximately eight times lighter than steel. This extremely high molecular weight provides UTEC with several outstanding properties, such as: high abrasion wear resistance, high impact resistance, and very low coefficient of friction that makes the material self-lubricating. UTEC can be used for a vast array of applications in the following industries: construction, agriculture, material handling, transportation, textile, pulp and paper, food and beverage, mining, marine, porous plastics, oil and gas, high performance fibers, battery separators and waste water treatment. UTEC is sold in powder form with products spanning a range of molecular weights and particle sizes. The molecular weight begins in the low range (3 million g/mol) and extends to a high range (7 to 10 million g/mol).

Naxonac® products include anionic surfactants, one of the main advantages of phosphate esters is their stability and solubility in alkali systems. They can be used as hydrotropes to couple nonionic surfactants systems which are not soluble and at the same time increase wetting and detergency properties. The presence of the phosphate group imparts some interactions with metallic surfaces, thereby exhibiting some anti-corrosion and metal-adhesion characteristics. They can be used as additives in oil and water-soluble lubricant systems to improve lubricity, anti-frictional properties of the formula. Phosphate esters also find use as emulsifiers in emulsion polymerization.

SILFOAM® is WACKER’s innovative brand for smart foam control products. CEDEPHOS is the acid form of a complex mixture of mono- and di-phosphate esters based on an aliphatic hydrophobe. This anionic surfactant offers the combination of exceptional alkali solubility with excellent coupling ability for nonionics in liquid formulations. It is used in heavy-duty, alkaline industrial detergent systems, textile wet processing, pulp deresination, dedusting agents and corrosion inhibitors.

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

AntiPro EP-3M is a very low foaming surfactant system that is readily soluble in 50% Caustic Soda solutions without the need for prolonged mixing or heating. In addition, it is also stable in mineral acids including hydrochloric, phosphoric and nitric acids.

Supergell is a premium brand that specializes in modified wheat starch products. These products serve various functions, including acting as rheology modifiers, thickeners, stabilizers, and finishing additives within the paper and pulp industry. They play a significant role in paper manufacturing processes.

MagnaPearl® is a range of mica-based titanium-coated pigments that exhibit a high degree of whiteness combined with brilliance and hiding. They are available in a wide variety of particle sizes creating extraordinary optical effects ranging from a fine-grained luster to a bold silvery-white sparkle. MagnaPearl® effect pigments are pearlescent pigments that are specially engineered. They are available in a variety of particle sizes. BTC’s effect pigments find use in a wide field for the coloration of plastics. They are also suitable for a variety of other industries including the automotive industry as well as the agriculture, building & construction, electrical & electronics, packaging, and textiles & fibers industries. They find also applications in newly emerging markets.

PULPSIL® products are silicone-based defoamers. PULPSIL® provides pulp and paper manufacturers with efficient pulp defoamers for optimizing their various process steps and product quality. PULPSIL® silicones not only control foam but also speed up dewatering and improve pulp washing. PULPSIL®silicones can thereby form part of a more profitable and environmentally friendly pulp manufacture – they increase production capacities, reduce water and energy consumption, reduce the amount of bleaching chemicals and improve pulp quality.

Hydropalat® from BTC types are used as wetting agents and surface modifiers. They provide a formulation with adequate wetting properties, enhance different component compatibility and/or improve the appearance of a coated surface in furniture & floorings coatings, automotive & industrial coatings, inks & printing applications.

Poligen® wax types refer to pure waxes of oxidized polyethylene waxes or ethylene copolymers. Poligen® products are already emulsified waxes and are used for ready-to-formulate purposes. The oxidized ethylene polymers provide the property of emulsification and thus wax emulsions can be prepared. They are defined by their mechanical and physical properties. The chemical constitution is mainly different. Oxidized polyethylene waxes are of high hardness and higher molar mass.

Dissolvine® chelates form strong, water-soluble complexes that prevent undesirable precipitation, dissolve scale deposits and optimize oxidation processes. Our chelate product range includes chelating agents that bind and control metal ions, as well as metal chelates that introduce the right form of metal ions into a product or process.

IrisECO is our series of water-based high concentrated pigment dispersions for in-plant tinting. Developed for architectural paints, is used also in industrial paints, wood coatings and various other applications.

These are polyacrylamides supplied in solid/liquid forms: by correctly selecting the right polymer and application point the papermaker shall obtain the optimum retention and dewatering performance leading to better runnability, productivity and paper quality.

Clin-Cat is a range of industrial cationic corn starches manufactured by ADM. They are specifically prepared to produce superior starches for the internal sizing of paper. This range consists of products that can be used for ASA-size emulsification and can improve the retention of fillers such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, and clay.

JetWhite® portfolio meets increasingly demanding impact resistance and dimensional stability specifications for automotive applications such as bumpers and body panels. The JetWhite® product range features the finest and most efficient grades from the Magris Talc portfolio for automotive applications. When the melt flow of TPOs is increased, impact strength tends to drop. The impact strength of talc-reinforced polyolefins is directly linked to the particle size distribution of the talc and to how it disperses in the matrix. To overcome any density issues due to their ultrafine grind, JetWhite® talcs are produced in compacted form to increase bulk density and allow maximum compounding throughput. Their compaction level has been adjusted to provide an optimum handling/ redispersion balance.

Clinton is a range of industrial corn starches manufactured by ADM. It consists of unmodified, acid-modified, or oxidized corn starches that can be used in chemical production, paper manufacturing, and thermal conversion processes. These corn starches can be used as a binder, film former, oil absorber, rheology modifier, stabilizer, or texturizer in various applications.
