IFC Solutions FD&C Blue 1 Aluminum Lake is An Aluminum Lake Pigment is an insoluble material that tints by dispersion. Lakes are produced from FD&C Dyes and are oil dispersible (but generally not oil soluble) and thus can be mixed with oils and fats. They can also be dispersed or suspended in other carriers such as propylene glycol, glycerin and sucrose (water and sugar).

Lake Green-S is insoluble in water. It gives an appearance of reddish green shade in the applications.

Lake Black PN is insoluble in water. It gives an appearance of violet shade in the applications.

Dialuminium tris[2-(2,4,5,7-tetrabromo-6-oxido-3-oxoxanthen-9-yl)-3,4,5,6-tetrachlorobenzoate (16-20%). D&C Red 28 Lake by Kolortek is an organic pigment. It can be used by itself or to deepen the tone of other colors. It has been filtered of harmful impurities.
